MY STORY

For most of my adult life my decisions were based on analytical thinking. Going to law school, doing my master’s degree, and my PhD. I was a professor and a researcher in several academic institutions in three different countries. I traveled the world through my academic endeavours, teaching, doing research, and participating in international conferences.

However, even with all my education I was still unable to break through the glass ceiling.

I was striving every day to achieve more, to write more, to present more, to do more. I was exhausted, my energy was depleted, I was losing focus and my joy had turned into crankiness.

I knew something was missing, however, instead of listening to my inner voice, I worked even harder, pushed myself more, things got even worse. Physical stress knocked at my door and now I was burn out and numb. I realized that my professional life had lost meaning and joy and this was affecting my personal life too.  I had to pause and explore what was going on. I started working on myself, hoping to find that missing piece.

It was at that moment that it hit me! I had to break through my internal glass ceiling.

I was feeling overwhelmed and burned out because my body was trying to let me know I had departed from my own path. I continued working on myself, trusting there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I began to understand that I was losing my energy by following the wrong direction and my intuition was trying to get me back on my own true path.

My researcher’s brain was excited, I finally found what was holding me back! I quieted the voice that kept telling me that I didn’t have it within me, and I started to listen to my intuition. I found my true self. The true me, the one who loves coaching, teaching, mentoring, writing, and creating. The true me, who is passionate about empowering women to see their own potential so that they can change the world from a place of inspiration, joy and creativity.

I am now experiencing the joy of following my purpose. I am not pursuing culturally defined achievements anymore, but goals that fulfill my soul.

This is bringing me a kind of joy that I have never experienced before.

The best part is that by walking my own true path of inspired action, I now have the motivation and stamina that I need to achieve more meaningful goals.

This journey has inspired me to become a Leadership Development Strategist, to help other women  discover and overcome what has been holding them back.

I can help YOU blaze the trail to get you where you really want to be!

Let’s create your next chapter together!
